Tips food and exercise for healthy heart
How does what I eat affect my heart?
The food you eat affects the way blood flows through your heart and arteries. A diet high in fat can cause a gradual build-called “plaque” in your arteries. That buildup slows down blood flow and blocks small arteries.
If the blockage happens in an artery that carries blood to the heart muscle of the heart muscle can die. That’s a heart attack. If the blockage happens in an artery that carries blood to the brain, part of the brain may die. That is a stroke which is also known as a stroke. A proper diet helps keep your arteries clear and reduces the risk of heart problems and stroke. Keeping your heart healthy by watching what you eat is not as difficult as it sounds!
